Front: William Atcheson Traill (1844-1933), engineer.
William was born near Bushmills, Ireland. Both William and his brother Anthony had
studied at Trinity College. They both enjoyed science and building things. William
became a civil engineer and Anthony a scientist, lecturer and Provost of Trinity
College Dublin. He and his brother built the first hydroelectric powered tram.
