(later 14th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne), and his wife, Nina Cecilia
Cavendish-Bentinck. She married Prince Albert (King George VI) in 1923.

Back: Tom Morris (1821-1908), golf club maker
Morris, born in St Andrews, Scotland, was known as Old Tom Morris. He
established a clubmaking business in 1867 next to the Old Golf
Course. The business continued to thrive during his lifetime and created
employment for six skilled craftsmen, one of which, Bob Martin, was a double
winner of The Open Championship at St Andrews in 1876 & 1885.
